Those Persons in High School
First it is important to know that there are many different organizations that govern youth bowling including, but not limited to, the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). In general here is what you need to know as it pertains to the Wednesday Hump Bowling Leagues.
It is in the best interest of any bowler who is still in High School to refrain from participating in ours or any Adult bowling league until after they graduate.
- Any bowler who bowls in an adult league will forfeit their eligibility as a youth bowler. This not only includes bowling as a regular member but also as a substitute bowler.
- No bowler who participates on a school sponsored team non-interscholastic is no longer permitted.

Those persons enrolled in College
For those persons enrolled in College there are two governing bodies; The United States Bowling Congress (USBC) and the National College Athletic Association. Here is what you need to know as it pertains to the Wednesday Hump Bowling Leagues.
- Bowlers are eligible to maintain their Youth Bowler status until the August 1st following their 20th birthday.
- Any bowler who bowls in an adult league will forfeit their eligibility as a youth bowler. This not only includes bowling as a regular member but also as a substitute bowler.
- IF YOU ARE ATTENDING A DIVISION I or II COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY AND INTEND TO PLAY ANY SPORTS YOU CAN NOT BOWL IN THE WEDNESDAY HUMP LEAGUES OR ANY OTHER LEAGUE WHICH PAYS A PRIZE FUND. Participation in any sporting event may impact your amateurism certification with the NCAA.
